Research Report on ASEAN in Maritime Silk Road

Abstract:

In order to understand the current status, problems, challenges and policy appeals of ASEAN countries in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, better implement the national opening-up strategy of the Belt and Road Initiative and boost the coordinated economic development along Maritime Silk Road, the research group of Research on Countries and Provinces along Maritime Silk Road from Institute of World Economics and Politics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, recently went to Indonesia and Singapore for field research, visited Jakarta and Singapore, and acquired a great deal of first hand materials from practice through deep communication with experts and scholars of local universities, think tanks and financial institutions in the form of interviews.
